INTRODUCTION

The Tourism Department was established in 1977.  It is responsible for conducting 3 full time academic programs.

Travel and Tourism Management (TTM)

Travel operations (TO)

Tour Guiding and Administration (TG)

IATA/UFTAA Travel programs

Travel and Tourism Management is a Diploma course. The other two offer Associate Diploma.

In additional to these, the department also inputs for other academic departments of the college by teaching tourism subjects such Environmental studies, Tourism theory and Touristic Geography. Travel and Tourism Management is certified by World Tourism Organization TEDQUAL Themes foundation and Commission for Higher Education (CHE).  The Department also coordinates IATA/UFTAA Diploma course
