Academics Food & Beverage Service FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE AND SALES (ADVANCED LEVEL) I YEARCOURSE DESCRIPTIONThis is a one year course which prepares students for Supervisory responsibilities in Food and Beverage operations. During this period students undergo intensive practical training at both the College and its application Hotel-Utalii Hotel. Students acquire skills in Customer care, Salesmanship, Communication and Practical Food and Beverage Service Supervision. COURSE STRUCTURE FOR SERVICE ADVANCED1 YEAR SERVICE BASIC COURSE(WAITERS) 2 YEAR EMPLOYMENT IN THE INDUSTRY 1 YEAR SERVICE ADVANCED COURSE(SUPERVISORS)
MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSIONApplicants must have undergone the basic course at Kenya Utalii college and worked successfully in the hotel industry for at least two years after graduation. Applicants must state the positions they currently hold in their establishments.
