TRAVEL OPERATIONS

One-and-half-year Certificate course offering specialized training in Travel Agency and Tour Operation Techniques.

Requirements: Aggregate: C-(Minus) in K.C.S.E. In addition, the indicated   minimum grades in the following subjects; English Language C- (Minus) Mathematics D+ (Minus) A foreign Language is an added advantage

TOUR GUIDING AND ADMINISTRATION

One-and-half-year Certificate course offering specialized training in Tour Guiding.

FOOD PRODUCTION

One-and-half-year Certificate course offering specialized training in cuisine for the Hospitality Industry.

Requirements: Aggregate: C-(Minus) -  in K.C.S.E. In addition, the indicated   minimum grades in the following subjects; English Language C-(Minus) Mathematics D+ (Plus) A foreign Language is an added advantage
Age: 18 - 30 years

GCE, IGCE, IB Other internationally recognized certificates: 3rd Division at "O" Level, or equivalent with credit in English Language and a pass in Mathematics. 

FOOD PRODUCTION APPRENTISHIP

Two-and-half-year Certificate course offering specialized training in cuisine for the Hospitality Industry.

Requirements: Aggregate: C-(Minus) -  in K.C.S.E. In addition, the indicated   minimum grades in the following subjects; English Language C-(Minus) Mathematics D(Plain). Applicants must be cooks with atleast 2 years work experience in a reputable and classified hotel/restaurant. Nomination forms are obtainable from the employer. The nomination form must be endorsed by the Human Resources Manager/Executive Chef.

FRONT OFFICE OPERATIONS

One-and-half-year Certificate course offering specialized training in reception procedures, cashiering, accounting and reservations for the Hospitality Industry.

Requirements: Aggregate: C-(Minus) in K.C.S.E. In addition, the indicated   minimum grades in the following subjects; English Language C-(Minus) Mathematics D+ A foreign Language is an added advantage

One-and-half-year certificate course offering specialised training in food & beverage service and sales in the hospitality industry.

 

Requirements: Aggregate C-(Minus) K.C.S.E. In addition, the indicated   minimum grades in the following subjects; English Language C-(Minus) A foreign Language is an added advantage

HOUSEKEEPING AND LAUNDRY

One-and-half-year Certificate course offering specialized training in Hotel and Institutional Housekeeping and Laundry.

Requirements: Aggregate C-(Minus) in K.C.S.E. In addition, the indicated   minimum grades in the following subjects; English Language C-(Minus)     

GCE, IGCE, IB Other internationally recognized certificates: 3rd Division at "O" Level, or equivalent with credit in English Language and a pass in Mathematics.

Age: 18 - 30 years

How to Apply

1. Submit a written application, indicating your district and province of birth, and ensure that you attach copies of your academic and school leaving testimonials and National Identity Card (or Birth Certificate.) 

2. Deposit a non-refundable application fee of KShs. 750- (or US $50- for non-Kenyans) in any branch of the Co-operative Bank. The Account details are indicated below:
