INTAKE POLICY

INTRODUCTION

As a national institution, Kenya Utalii College believes in offering equal opportunities to all Kenyans who meet the minimum entry requirements for the various courses. In pursuit of this policy, the students’ intake is based on a carefully determined Provincial and District distribution criteria.The College’s programmes are also in demand internationally.

Admission

Accordingly, to cater for this demand, and in fulfillment of its roles as a World Tourism Organization (WTO) and East Africa Community (EAC) Centre of Excellence, a proportion ( up to 15%) 0f the College’s annual intake is reserved for international students- from other countries in Africa in particular and also other parts of the world. Full time Courses begin in October of each year. However, there is an extra intake for the Food & Beverage Service and Sales (Basic & Advanced ) course in May each year.

Kenya Utalii College recognizes the challenges and opportunities that manifest in the Kenyan Hotel and Tourism Industry today, as well as the need for the industry to maintain high operational standards.
